台灣衣物修繕教育週 2026.10.15~2026.10.25

REstoRE 長期在臺灣推動衣物修繕、服裝修改及日常衣物保養教育。我們並非為了響應國際維修日才舉辦一次性的活動，而是希望藉由這個機會，讓更多人認識持續進行的衣物修繕教育，以及專業服裝修改技術在延長衣物使用壽命中的重要性。
2026 年國際維修日期間，我們的常態教育課程包含兩項實作內容：
衣物修繕與車縫入門課程
為期四週，從縫紉機與拷克機操作開始，學習基礎衣物修繕、鬆緊帶更換、服裝修改，以及維護與再利用既有衣物的實用技術。
上衣修繕與修改進階課程
針對 T-shirt 與襯衫，學習衣物結構判斷、合身調整、尺寸修改、領口與領片處理，以及袖長、衣長修改等技術，由具備服裝修改實務經驗的專業人員授課。
REstoRE 重視衣物修繕作為生活技能與專業服務的價值，而不只是創意性的舊衣改造活動。
透過多年實務經驗、教育課程及與專業修改師的合作，我們希望增加社會大眾對衣物修繕的理解，促進技術傳承，並鼓勵人們延長衣物的使用時間。
對我們而言，衣物修繕不只存在於一年一度的國際維修日，而是每天都在進行的工作，也是我們持續投入臺灣衣物教育的方向。

Taiwan Clothing Repair Education Week
Organised by REstoRE Sustainable Design Studio, Taiwan
REstoRE has been dedicated to clothing repair, alteration, and practical garment care education in Taiwan for years. Rather than organising a one-off event for International Repair Day, we are highlighting our ongoing educational practice and the role of professional clothing alteration skills in extending the useful life of garments.
During International Repair Day 2026, our regular educational programme includes two hands-on courses:
Beginner Clothing Repair & Sewing Course
A four-week course introducing sewing machine operation, overlock sewing, basic clothing repair, elastic replacement, garment alterations, and practical techniques for maintaining and reusing existing clothes.
Advanced Clothing Alteration Course: Tops
A specialised course focusing on T-shirts and shirts, including garment construction, fit assessment, resizing, neckline adjustments, collar modifications, and sleeve and garment length alterations. The course is taught with professional garment alteration expertise.
Our approach focuses on clothing repair as an essential life skill and a professional service, rather than simply a creative upcycling activity.
Through years of practical experience, educational programmes, and collaboration with professional alteration specialists, REstoRE works to improve public understanding of garment repair, support the transmission of technical skills, and encourage longer clothing use.
For us, clothing repair is not limited to one international awareness day. It is part of our everyday work and a continuing commitment to clothing education in Taiwan.

REstoRE 舊與新織是一間位於臺灣臺北的獨立衣物修繕教育與服務工作室。我們的工作涵蓋實際的衣物修繕與修改服務、專業技術教育、公眾工作坊，以及衣物素養的推廣。
我們認為，延長衣物的使用壽命，不能只停留在鼓勵人們修補衣服，更需要讓民眾有機會接觸專業修繕技術與服務，並深入理解衣物如何被製造、穿著、保養與修改。
我們期待與國際間推動修繕教育的計畫、專業維修從業者，以及致力於發展維修文化的組織交流，分享彼此的知識與實務經驗。
About us:
REstoRE is an independent clothing repair education and service studio based in Taipei, Taiwan. Our work combines practical garment repair and alteration services, technical education, public workshops, and the promotion of clothing literacy.
We believe that extending the life of clothing requires more than encouraging people to repair. It also depends on access to professional skills, repair services, and a better understanding of how garments are made, worn, maintained, and altered.
We welcome opportunities to exchange knowledge with international repair education initiatives, professional repair practitioners, and organisations working to strengthen repair culture.
